Local man helping with national warrior group

AVON PARK -- Sometimes, you just want your voice to be heard and your service to be respected, especially when you feel that your voice can make a difference.

That's the hope of some of America's warriors, those who have served and "know the ropes" so to speak.

The Warrior Legacy Foundation is a non-partisan organization that is committed to the protection and promotion of the reputation and dignity of America's Warriors.

"It seems fitting that we begin the Warrior Legacy Foundation on Memorial Day to honor the sacrifice of so many," Matt Burden, chairman of the organization, wrote on the groups Web site...
